Welcome to the DDL
Our first season is designed to welcome new players. With most of the lads new to darts, the league uses 201 and a single leg to keep games approachable while everyone learns.
In both the league and the SPRINGWELL Cup, games are double out: the winning dart must land in a double to reach exactly zero. The away player throws first.
DDL League · 2026
- Format: 201, one leg, double out.
- Points: three for a win, one for a draw and none for a loss.
- Level on points: the higher highest checkout takes the higher position.
- Draws: recorded when a player is sick and the game cannot be rearranged.
If a leg runs too long
The game moves to a highest-score decider:
- Both players throw closest to the bull.
- The player closest to the bull chooses whether to throw first or second.
- Each player throws three darts. The highest total wins.
SPRINGWELL Cup · 2026
301, double out, with the away player throwing first.
